We publish the Address of His Eminence Cardinal Peter Turkson to the Pan-European Working Group of the European Parliament, on the occasion of the Meeting  held on 20 November 2012.

Once a month during the Strasbourg plenary of the European Parliament, the Working Group - founded by Otto von Habsburg in 1985 - invites personalities from politics, business, religions and culture to address important topics of the day. The Group wants to encourage networking among the Members of the European Parliament, to engage in open debate and to seek common solutions for the problems of the globalising world.

His Eminence Cardinal Turkson’s speech was entitled "Religious Freedom and Christians Suffering Discrimination and Persecution".
